19.01.2007 Amid its busy preparations for the start of its first full FIA Formula One World Championship season, the Spyker F1 team managed to find some time for a chilly trip to Gstaad, Switzerland.
More than 20 sponsors, partners and media joined Spyker drivers Christijan Albers and Adrian Sutil, chief technical officer Mike Gascoyne, team principal Colin Kolles, director Michiel Mol and other team members for two days of skiing in the exclusive Swiss resort in the Alps.
“The event was a perfect way for our partners and friends in the media to get to know each other and speak to the key team players in a relaxed atmosphere before the season starts,” commented Michiel. “We’re a young team with new sponsors, partners and fans coming on board all the time, so it’s important we establish firm relationships that will give us strong foundations for the future. We want the team to be as successful as possible, and everyone contributes to that success in their own respective role or position.”
