18.07.2006 On his 2nd friday practice at Magny Cours, Adrian could approve once again his performance.
The MF1-Testpilot Adrian Sutil from Gräfelfing near Munich improved once more his performance from Nürburgring. At the official friday pracitice sessions Adrian was able to be 5th and 7th in the end ranking. He could beat top drivers like Felipe Massa, Kimi Raikkönen or Nick Heidfeld. The Team around Colin Kolles was very happy with Adrian and his work on friday.
The young gun did a lot of long runs but also some tyre testing. He could give a good feedback of the car setup and workout a good qualifying balance.
Adrian Sutil after his impressive friday practice: I was very happy after my friday sessions at Nürburgring. But the results of Magny Cours were really unexpected. I felt well in the car and Midland did a step to the front. The car was better then at Nürburgring. I enjoyed driving on this track. The team did a great job and they were also satisfied with my comments about the setup. It was a great day!
Adrian will travel to again to Japan next week. He has a GT Test in Motegi on the 26th and 27th. On the 7th august Adrian has his next all japan F3 championship round at Autopolis were he want to win again!
