24.05.2006 After his good results in the All Japan F3 Championship, Toms Toyota wanted to see Adrians driving with their GT car. He got the opportunity to test the car at Sugo. At the first day, Adrian could test only 40 minutes. But it was enough to see the difference of a formula car and a touring car. The car is very heavy and is moving all the time. Anyway Adrian enjoyed the laps and he could do fast lap times in the end.
At the 2nd day he could do 45 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the afternoon. His feeling for the car was much better and he was able to go to the limit. Adrian was doing always long runs with used tyres and maximum fuel. He was doing very good. It was quite difficult to have clear laps because of the GT300 cars. The track is always very crowded. Anyway, Adrian could manage to do a very good lap time. He was only 2 tenth slower than his teammade who developed the car and has over 10 years touring car experience.
Now, Adrian gets the Chance to test the car again in Motegi end of Juli.
