29.05.2006  The 3rd Race weekend of the All Japan F3 Championship was held up in Motegi. On the free practice on Friday Adrian was confident with the setup of the car. After testing some good new adjustments he wanted to be on pole for the races.
The first qualifying was on Saturday morning. The track was dry although there were some dark clouds on the sky. Adrian went out very early on track to be sure to have some clear laps in the only 15 minutes session. The track went faster and faster and in the end his tyres were a already gone. so he couldnt go on pole position. He ended 3rd for the grid.
The 2nd qualifying was much better. From the beginning he could be on P1 and stay there until the end. He also secured the F3 Laprecord on Motegi cirquit. So for the sunday race he started from pole position.
The Saturday race was in wet condition. Adrian had a perfect start and could take over the lead for the first lap. After 2nd lap he had to give up his lead to both inging cars of Roberto Streit and Jonny Reid. Then the race was quite unspectacular. Adrian was on 3rd position and had now pressure from the back.
For the sunday race it was clear. Adrian wanted to win the race from pole position. After a great start he could take over the lead. After first lap he already had a gap of 1 second. After doing one fastest lap after another he won the race with incredible 13 seconds gap to the 2nd place Fabio Carbone.
Now he is leading also the Championship with 13 points. The next race will be in Okayama.
